SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Each film or video must be accompanied by a completed entry form and applicable
entry fees. Entries must be submitted on
DVD (any region or format), Mini DV (NTSC) or VHS (NTSC). Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled
in English. Please include a one paragraph description of your film. Please do not send press kits or any other print materials until they are requested by the festival staff.
ENTRY FEES
Checks or money orders must be made payable to “indiefilmpage.com”. Early Bird Deadline entry fee $25.00 US per title, non-refundable. Regular Deadline entry fee $25.00 US per title, non-refundable. Late Deadline entry fee $30.00 US per title, non-refundable. Extended Late Deadline entry fee $45.00 US per title, non-refundable. Fees for entries from outside the United States must be paid by international bank draft/money order payable from a U.S. bank.

SHIPPING
Cost of shipping is the responsibility of the entrant. Tapes/DVDs must be
sent to the festival prepaid. C.O.D.'S will be refused. All Tapes/DVDs must
be labeled with the title of the entry, running time, and the name of the director. The festival
cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit.

SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
All entries will be viewed by the selection committee. The Festival will make
no cuts or changes. Festival selections will be announced on August 25th, 2009. All entrants will be notified by email. Selected films will also be posted on our website. The festival does not pay rental fees for submitted work. If selected, exhibition format is DVCam (NTSC) for features, DVCam (NTSC) or mini dv (NTSC) for shorts.
AWARDS
A festival jury will present awards to films and videos selected as best in
category.
RETURN OF SUBMISSION TAPES
We strongly encourage you to only send materials you do not wish to have returned,
it's cheaper and easier for all involved. Please do not send us masters, originals,
your only copy, etc. Videos will not be returned unless requested, please
mark the appropriate box on your entry form. Tape return fees are $5 for US
addresses, $9 outside of the U.S. Allow 8 weeks after festival date for returns.
Although due care will be exercised, indiefilmpage.com, Coney Island USA and the Coney Island Film Festival cannot accept responsibility
for lost or damaged tapes. Please DO NOT SEND self-addressed stamped envelopes
for videotape returns, we will not use them.
