Jollyship the Whiz-Bang: Cleaning Up Coney Island A 3 minute video for the song 'Kill it if it Don't Got Feet' by Jollyship the Whiz-Bang imagines a group of concerned citizens 'heroically' purging Coney Island of sealife undesirables, who are portrayed by both puppets and Mermaid Parade-esque body-painted freaks. Filmed in Astroland in the summer of 2006, 'Cleaning up Coney Island' is both a tribute to the vaudevillian spirit of Coney Island, and a prophetic commentary on cultural 'revitalization.' |
