LONG ISLAND UNCOVERED is a documentary film that takes an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at the private lives of Long Islands top tribute/cover band musicians.

The film features THE DEAD ROCKSTARS, THUNDERBOX, LIVE AFTER DEATH, JERK FELLAS and VICTIMS OF ROCK (VOR).

The film takes an honest look at the chaos, trials and tribulations of these musicians as they juggle careers, family and everyday responsibilities in order to rehearse and perform with their bands.

LONG ISLAND UNCOVERED captures live footage and candid interviews with musicians, family, friends, fans, club owners and promoters as they paint a true picture of the hard work, dedication and sacrifice these musicians expend each and everyday. It's not about money or fame....it's about a passion!

Heavy Metal Picnic
Jeff Krulik, Washington, DC, Documentary Feature, 66:00,
New York Premiere!

Heavy Metal Picnic is a rock and roll flashback to 1985, focusing on an out-of-control weekend field party at 'The Farm,' home to a cast of colorful characters who lived, and partied, next door to wealthy, and unamused, neighbors. The Full Moon Jamboree, an affair so raucous that it made the evening news, was the farm party to end all farm parties, and much of it was recorded using a home video camera and a stolen CBS News microphone swiped from the Reagan Inauguration earlier that year.

Now, twenty five years later, we revisit the scene, and meet the people behind the party, as well as the musicians who performed there, including mid-Atlantic doom metal icons Asylum. Produced and presented by the team behind cult documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot (Jeff Krulik and John Heyn), Heavy Metal Picnic is a celebration of mid-80s Maryland rock and roll and heavy metal, by those who lived, and survived it.
