The Coney Island Film Festival is open to filmmakers working in ALL GENRES, SUBJECTS AND FORMATS.

ENTRY CATEGORIES
Feature, Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Experimental, Horror, Animation, Music Video.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Entries must be submitted on DVD (any format or region) or Blu-Ray (Region 1). Foreign language films must be dubbed or subtitled in English. Shorts are categorized as anything under 40 minutes. Features are categorized as anything 40 minutes and over. Please do not send press kits, posters, postcards, or any support materials until requested to do so.

ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES

EARLY BIRD DEADLINE February 22, 2013 (postmarked) $25 , REGULAR DEADLINE April 26, 2013 (postmarked) $30. LATE DEADLINE June 28, 2013 (postmarked) $35. EXTENDED LATE DEADLINE July 12, 2013 (postmarked) $45. All entry fees are non-refundable. Fees for entries from outside the United States must be paid by international bank draft/money order payable from a U.S. bank. See coneyislandfilmfestival.com/international.html for examples.

SHIPPING
Cost of shipping is the responsibility of the entrant. Tapes/DVDs must be sent to the festival prepaid. C.O.D.'s will be refused. All tapes/DVDs must be labeled with the title of the entry and running time. The festival cannot accept responsibilty for damage or loss of materials in transit.

RETURN OF SUBMISSION DISC
We strongly encourage you to only send materials you do not wish to have returned, it's cheaper and easier for all involved. Please do not send us masters, originals, your only copy, etc. Discs will not be returned unless requested, please mark the appropriate box on your entry form and pay the return fee. Allow 8 weeks after the festival date for returns. Although due care will be exercised, indiefilmpage.com / CIFF cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged tapes/dvds. Please do not send self-addressed stamped envelopes for video returns, we will not use them.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
All entries will be viewed by the selection committee. Selected films will be announced on or around August 17th, 2013. All entrants will be contacted with final decision by email. Exhibition format is Blu-Ray or DVD. The festival does not pay rental fees for submitted work. The Festival dates are September 20- 22, 2013.

AWARDS
The festival jury will present awards to films and videos selected as best in these categories: Feature, Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Experimental, Animation, Horror, Music Video and "Made in Coney Island".
